WHAT TIME DO YOU OPEN?
We open 45 minutes before your film starts:

1:15pm for a 2:00pm film start

4:15pm for a 5:00pm film start
-
7:45pm for a 8:30pm film start
We recommend arriving as early as you can and latest ten minutes before the start of your movie. Places are on a first come first serve basis.
IS IT SAFE TO GO TO THE EVENT?
We have been working closely with local authorities to make sure that the screenings are in line with the latest social distancing measures. We will be adhering to all the current Covid-19 social distancing guidelines to ensure everybody has an enjoyable and very safe experience. We encourage you to wear a face mask and practice social distancing at all times.
HOW IS THE PARKING DONE AT THE EVENT?
A traffic management team will be on site to aid parking. Plus, the traffic management team will ensure that small cars are not behind 4x4s – in such cases you will be directed to park in a more appropriate place.
CAN I BRING CHILDREN?
Each film has an age certification so please bear this in mind when purchasing your ticket. This will be enforced so if necessary please bring proof of ID.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN ATTEND IN ONE VEHICLE?
Tickets are priced per car and assumes one or two people attending. However should your vehicle allow for additional people to join you where everyone’s viewing won't be impacted, you are welcome to come with a full car subject to legal car capacities. Please ensure everyone has a seat in your vehicle.
No vans, trucks, mini-buses will be allowed on site.
CAN I HAVE OTHERS IN MY CAR THAT ARE NOT FROM MY HOUSEHOLD?
Please follow government guidance at the time of attending your screening.
HOW DO WE HEAR THE MOVIE?
You will get digital quality sound in each car via the car stereo. Audio will NOT be transmitted through speakers on site.
WILL I HAVE A GOOD VIEW?
We’ve set the sites up to allow a good view from all cars. When you book, you’ll be asked to pick if you have a standard or a large car (SUV, People Carrier etc) just so we can space cars out successfully as they arrive to ensure the best view for all.
ARE THERE HEIGHT RESTRICTION ON VEHICLES?
There are no height restrictions on cars. We want everyone to enjoy the experience as best as possible and the screen will be raised, but it is important that everyone can see the screen as clearly as possible.
HOW CLOSE WILL THE NEXT CAR BE TO ME?
Cars will be spaced to allow for social distancing to take place between the rows so you can easily walk to and from the toilet. The cars will be parked next to each other like in a carpark so if you do need to leave your car please be aware of people in the car next to you as you leave and return to your vehicle.
CAN I SIT OUTSIDE MY CAR?
We ask that customers remain in their cars for the screening, apart from if they need to use the toilet facilities, to enable social distancing to be followed. Please note that audio will be transmitted from your vehicle and not through external speakers.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
This is an all-weather event and in the event of rain, the screening will continue.
Even though you will be in your vehicle, remember to bring warm clothing and a blanket if you wish, as it may get cold towards the end of the screening. Even though this is a Drive-In experience, please check the forecast in advance and come dressed appropriately. If the weather is deemed to be extreme / unsafe then we reserve the right to cancel a screening.
ARE THERE TOILET FACILITIES?
There will be individual toilet facilities on site, with social distanced taken in to consideration when spacing them out. There will be regular cleaning after each use by our onsite team. Maintaining the safety of our staff and guests is our main priority, and will be providing a comfortable and clean experience for all that attend across the film season.
ARE PETS ALLOWED?
Unfortunately not. Only guide dogs are permitted.
IS THERE DISABLED ACCESS AT CELLAR DOOR FILM SOCIETY
All vehicles will enter through the same route, however accessible toilets will be provided.
CAN YOU LEAVE YOUR CAR OVERNIGHT IF YOU ARE DRINKING?
No, vehicles can't be left on site. You must have a designated driver if you are drinking.
DO YOU OFFER ANY DISCOUNTS?
Every showing will have 10 free car tickets available for NHS staff and care workers - just enter select the NHS ticket option, before proceeding to the checkout. We anticipate high demand for these tickets, so please book early to avoid disappointment! You will need to provide at least 1 form of photo ID per car on arrival to certify you’re NHS staff or a care worker. Without your ID the vehicle will not be permitted to enter the site.
WILL THERE BE SUBTITLES OR AUDIO DESCRIPTION?
Please check our film schedule for any movies that have subtitles. At the time of print, we don’t have any audio described or subtitled screenings scheduled for the time being.
CAN I RESERVE A PLACE FOR MY CAR IN ADVANCE?
We can’t reserve parking spaces in advance. Our staff will assign you a space depending on the size of the car. Large cars and SUVs might be positioned at the sides or back - but don’t worry, everyone gets a good view.

WHAT TYPE OF SCREEN ARE YOU USING?
Our movies will play on our giant top-of-the-range LED screen.
DO I HAVE TO LEAVE STRAIGHT AFTER THE SCREENING HAS FINISHED?
Yes, for your own safety you will be asked to exit the site when your event finishes. Our staff will guide you to the exit in a calm and timely manner. Please leave quietly at the end of the event out of consideration to our neighbours - and please remember to take your litter with you.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Cancellation of a film screening is at our discretion.
If a screening is cancelled or terminated due to decision by Lost Format Society / Cellar Door, all patrons will receive a refund to the debit / credit card that the ticket was purchased with.
If a screening is cancelled or terminated due to a technical fault on site, all patrons will receive a refund to the debit / credit card that the ticket was purchased with.
We reserve the right to add, withdraw, reschedule or substitute film titles and to vary advertised prices or audience capacity without notice.
Please note Lost Format Society / Cellar Door cannot be held liable or responsible for any damage.
Photographs and/or video will be taken at the event. By attending a screening you grant the event organisers full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes to help achieve the group’s aims. This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media and press releases. If you do not wish to be photographed please inform an event organiser via the contact form ahead of your visit.
FOOD AND DRINK
CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINK?
Yes, you are permitted to bring your own food or alternatively you may order food to the site that is purchased online and delivered via delivery drivers . Please note that ALL rubbish will need to be taken offsite. There will be a dedicated area onsite where food will be dropped off by delivery drivers and collected by our customers.
WILL THERE BE ALCOHOL?
Coffee Shotter bar will be on site, with a full selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available to order. Please drink responsibly and always ensure you have a designated driver.
WHAT DO WE DO WITH OUR RUBBISH?
We kindly ask that all guests take their rubbish away with them and do not dispose of it at the event. This helps us operate with a smaller team that allows for increased social distancing and our staff not having to touch the waste. Please be considerate and help us keep the interaction to a minimum.
TICKETS
HOW DO I PRESENT MY TICKETS TO ENTER THE SITE?
Tickets will be scanned through the windows, so no human contact is necessary.
CAN I BUY TICKETS ON THE DOOR?
If a film still has availability then tickets will be available for purchase only via the website. There will be no cash transactions on site. Tickets are subject to availability on the day.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I BUY TICKETS ONLINE?
When you purchase your ticket from www.eventbrite.co.uk you will be issued with an e-ticket, which will be sent to the email address provided at the time of booking. There will be no paper tickets sent out, so please make sure you save the email containing your e-ticket.
WHAT IF I CAN’T PRINT MY E‐TICKET?
If you are unable to print your e-ticket you will be able to gain entry through showing your confirmation email on your mobile phone.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DIDN’T RECEIVE MY TICKET CONFIRMATION EMAIL.
If you did not receive your ticket confirmation email, please contact evenbrite to explain your issue or click on ‘Contact the organiser’ on our event page on eventbrite and we will look into your issue for you.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND/TICKET EXCHANGE POLICY?
We operate a FULL REFUND POLICY in the event that we the organisers cancel a screening or if government guidance stipulates that Drive-In Cinemas have to close due to Coronavirus, we will issue a FULL REFUND. We want to ensure all our customers that they can book with confidence and not have to worry if their ticket money will be returned in case of the event not continuing.
In other situations, all sales are final and refunds are not available once a ticket purchase has been made. You can, however, reallocate your ticket to someone else if you can no longer attend a screening you have bought a ticket(s) for.
WHY DO YOU NEED THE VEHICLE REGISTRATION WHEN PURCHASING?
